why do u care if ppl want to pay to watch high stakes?
I don't care at all, and in fact I think there should always be _some_ HS content. But it shouldn't be the main focus of this or any training site. Nothing but HS content is poker porn way more than it is focused educational content.

It may be that there are a lot of series out for newer players at the micro and small stakes...
i agree to your premise above, problem is ALL of the series are geared towards lower stakes.
so when you are grinding midstakes+ you can throw away several months of subscription.

i forgot to mention, the problem with the missing high stakes content might be, that DC doesn't even seem to have any producer who grinds highstakes.
some of the producers which come into my mind:
ansky, i see either at the 500 zoom tables, or like 400/600 mostly
grindcore, last time i saw him playing, he played 400 or even below, i was surprised to see him there i remember
bwhale, not sure when the last time was he really grinded

This notion is that people don't know what is good for them is laughable.
A whole bunch of people way smarter than you or me would disagree very strongly with this statement. Often times, what customers complain about only hints at the real issue - the key is reading between the lines to figure turn those complaints into solutions that actually solve the underlying problems. As a recent example, many of the high-level developers from Blizzard cite this phenomenon in their attempts to tune Diablo 3 during production.
I have seen videos where the coach didn't seem to make one coherent thought.
Besides being a complete non sequitur, what value does this comment have? Why not make this constructive? Outside of the one comment you made about asking for more TDL videos, every post you've made in this thread has been filled with vagaries and vitriol more than substantive comments. If you think someone is poor at communicating their thoughts in videos, say something in the thread for the video! I know I have always asked for comments and criticism on my videos, both good and bad. Especially if it's something like not communicating a point effectively, I'd really want to be told if a large portion of my audience just isn't understanding. All the knowledge in the world is useless to others if it can't be conveyed properly.
I am also hopeful this season will be improved.
Again, outside of the comment about TDL and "higher stakes stuff", what exact improvements do you want? Be extremely specific. 200NL 6m live play vids? Away from the table HH analysis? Mentor-style sessions? Non-poker improvement videos?

I can't wait to meet this "whole bunch of people way smarter than you or me." one day. We are not talking about the general populace or even the consumers of a video game. We are talking about a relatively small section of the poker community that wishes to better their game through poker education. Methinks they have an idea of what they want. Regardless, when members get disenchanted with the product, they cease to remain members, it's really a simple idea.

But making complete non sequiturs mixed with vagaries and vitriol is my thing. The point of the comment was just to show that if the masses of DC subscribers want videos that may or may not be congruent to their poker education needs, it is still better than some videos that have been produced where the coach was almost completely unable to convey a sensible thought. I am not sure how productive it would have been to put into the comment section urging the coach to please complete sentences or say something meaningful.

I never used the term "higher stakes stuff" in any of my posts. I would like tournament videos both NLHE and other mixed games. A PLO8 video especially in a tournament setting would be to my liking. Last but not least, 200NL 6max live play but I wouldn't be too upset if it was 100NL or 400NL.

It's actually not that rare. My American friends have been playing it all the time on Merge to mix in with their NLHE tourney sched. I was interested in trying out some of them on Stars.
I don't expect it but it was just an idea. It's not important enough for me to get a coach. I am quite happy with my poker earnings as is.
I am glad you are adamant in not seeing a PLO8 tournament video. I personally do not see the harm in it.

It was hardly a demand. It was more just a random idea that popped in my mind at the time.
Also, they have several PLO8 videos in their library from Gergery and Yeahthatsme. Just none in a tournament setting afaik.
