Obv. games change. An example: Loose passive players pre flop starting to have a lot more bluffs in their range post flop.
If midstakes video are constantly being placed on the site, I think the same could be done for small stakes.
To me, this would be a fun challenge:
We give 8 mid stakes+high stake coaches the challenge to beat the micro stakes for as much as they can aslong as a season on DC takes (which is 8 episodes). This doesn't even have to be NLH only. PLO could be in here too.
This ofcourse becomes a series. Where every week we have a different coach about how they go about their challenge. Every session they take a small stakes player in the series.
This way we get to see the big differences in thought process of the small stakes player + the coaches that play higher.
We also get to see if the games have evolved so much that a series like Coaching Kristy is not applyable anymore. I highly doubt it. I do think we could get some value from another coach then BalugaWhale showing how they would play small stakes.
Not because baluga is bad, just because he pretty much always does the small stakes videos.
It would be great to see a different aproach.
The great thing about this is, that a coach doesn't need to play 8 videos+ to make the series.
Maybe its even better to not make it a challenge between the coaches, but more.. how much they can make together. A bit like... 2 months, 2 million.
Maybe they end up a lot? maybe break even? Maybe losing???? That would be terrible!!!
Line up:
Ansky, Krantz, Baluga, Wilt, Inavacuum, Hielko, Jk3a, Grindcore (geared towards 6max)

I think that changing game conditions can warrant a new series. I have seen videos of microstakes that are basically on the lines of hey just wait for the top 15% of hands, play tightly, then just valuebet. This really doesn't work as well anymore since people are playing a lot better. They can actually say well this guy is not playing a lot of hands so if big cards come on the board and I don't have a big card I am folding. Granted this isn't exactly the greatest range analysis but if you're playing that tightly it is actually pretty accurate. This means you need to open up your range a little and not just play a really tight style ABC style at the micros. That being said deucescracked probably has enough content to cater for better micro players because it just means you can go watch videos of say 1NL if you're at 25NL and pick up concepts there you need to beat the good 25NL regs etc.

i can see what you are saying. to a point. yes, the skill level at the micro limits has gone up in the last seven years. but the skill level is not high enough to deviate from the tight/aggro style very much. as long as you have players calling all the way to the river just because they have a face card in their hand, the best way to play is still to pick your spots and get your money in with the best hands. i've tried time and time again to play real poker at these stakes, only to have my set cracked on the river by some donk shoving all in with a 10:1 shot at catching their straight on the river. and getting it.

DC coaches will often make posts asking for participation in an upcoming video. You have to be in the right place at the right time though, since it's usually first come, first serve.
+1
I was in a video (the only 6max rush video on site. woot!), and passed on another in order to give someone else a spot. DC coaches do a pretty good job IMO of giving people opportunity to appear in a video. You just have to be ready when coaches ask for people.

In the general description of Hold'em Helper, there was this statement: "Please post or PM your request in the first weeks of the season to get your requests on video! " In just contacted Josh and participated to one episode. I'm not sure if he had a lot of requests.
