Hi DC staff,

Would it be possible to create a dedicated sub-forum for live play if there was enough interest? I'm sure I'm not the only one that has increased their live volume since Black Friday, and this would be eternally helpful.

Hey Mini,

We've evaluated this a few times and still haven't seen enough traffic/reqeusts to justify it. Until that happens, feel free to post the live hands in their appropriate forum.

Number 4 here. I cant play online but I know the value of DC. Might be you gonna have to subscribe to the pod cast to get live play info or a fourm. Thinking about the podcast subscription. You cant beat the HH anaylisis you get from other good players and coaches on DC. These analysis is good for live play just as much as online in my opinion.

Can't argue with that. Is there a way we could tag our live poker posts that would make it easier for DC to measure this quantity?

(Mind you, most of mine would be LO8, which isn't what people are really looking for anyway, but i think a lot about how to organize information.)

Also, while i'm on this kick, i've always thought that the ability to multi-tag message board threads would be extremely valuable. ("nlhe" and "live" and "small stakes" and "sick bluff" and "AK ui" and "hu on the turn" and "oop" and ...) We can do this with our gmail. To my understanding, forums that try to implement this haven't really done a great job of doing like Google, going whole hog, and throwing out the folders in favor of tags. They just glom a tag interface that no one really uses onto a directory- or folder-based forum structure. Still better than not having tags, i suppose.

Thoughts?

i totally back this live forum idea.

Hey guys, so long as we're expressing interest in a live forum, why don't we also post what games/limits/locations we're currently playing?

Here's mine:

LHE, 8/16, Commerce.

1/2 NLHE at home games and Delaware Park
2/4 8 game mix at home games as well
And the occasional MTT
