Is holdem manager coming out for mac by any chance? I'll probably be getting one of these soon, but I'm not sure whether to just wait for PT3 mac version (end of summer) - or install parallels desktop and use holdem manager. Thanks.

Roy hasn't announced any plans for HEM for Mac, unfortunately. Personally I'd go with Parallels or Bootcamp+HEM.

So is this better than PT3???

I currently own PT3 and I find it good but the HUD gives me headaches, I simply cant configure it properly (thats why I suggested a vid to be made about it)

Is it worth buying (holdem manager) if I own PT3 ?

i've never used pt3 (have some students who have it...) but HM is the shizzzz i'd get it if i were you

HEM is really really nice software. And with the most recent update it has gotten even better imo.
I am still using the trial version which basically has unlimited use if you create a new DB after 5000 hands, but I am planning to buy it within the next few weeks.
For my use it is more suitable then PT3. Although I am sure PT3 has its own advantages and strengths. They are probably both good in what they do, and it is just a matter of personal taste.

If you already own PT3 I don't know if it is really worth throwing in more money into a stat program. But I think you should definitely give the trial version a go and decide from there.

Will DC be promoting HEM aside from the discount? I'm thinking stuff like using it in the majority of videos, offering a forum or place to exchange HUD files, more HEM usage/setup vids etc?

I'm still on the fence with PT3 vs HEM and was leaning towards PT3 just out of laziness in learning a new program. But, PT3 is super buggy and if you guys will be offering content that'll make the transition to a new tracker easier, I'm sold.

Finally ETA on the discount? I'd like to get something new setup for my laptop before leaving for vegas at the end of the month instead of another PT2 key.

We won't be creating any specific subforums for it but we're definitely willing to post any of our HUDs that we use, etc., and continue any discussion on how to use it in the Software forum.

Just installed windows on my mac via bootcamp and parallels (i'll be using parallels to run windows) and downloaded the HEM trial. Fun program for sure! Does the trial version have limited capabilities? I can't seem to get reports to work. It doesn't matter i'll be buying this anyway!

Also, if I get the trial version or whatever will I still qualify to get the DC discount?
