Hi. As a DC-forum newbie, I wonder how to contact a coach. I've sent 2 PM's, but received no answer yet. Is it because I don't have enough posts (since that's the rule in some forums) or it's just that they didn't see my messages? Smile

For how long?

Not that long, 2 days the first one and 1 day the other. "Sample size" issue eh? Grin

So the guy with a post count of 2 has 3 messages in this thread?

Yes. He has 3 posts, but his "author bio" currently shows 2. This is because we cache (store cached versions of HTML content) most of the content on this site in one way or another. At any given point in time, things like postcount, etc., can appear off if you're going by the way that they look in the forum, because the caches may not have been regenerated recently. Caches are regenerated frequently, but not constantly, so sometimes things that aren't mission critical (i.e. post count) aren't displaying the most up-to-date information.

So yeah, you'll see things like that sometimes - we try to minimize them, but running a site is often a game of trying to figure out which bugs to squash first. While bugs like that annoy me, they usually aren't a big enough priority for us to stress over *too* much, since they're known bugs, and don't functionally result in anything being broken.
