Downloads work fine (1Mb/s+) but whenever I try to stream it does short buffers every few seconds so I'm assuming the rate at which it's being sent is slightly below the rate required to view it. Haven't had this problem before.

Hey Mitch, if this is a relatively new problem it is likely to be temporary connection latency between you and our streaming servers at Amazon. As far as I know, there's no scheduled maintenance. If the problem is persisting tomorrow, let me know.
