Thanks for the review super fish. Still on the fence, but your detailed explanation was very helpful!

Hard for me to believe there's anything better than using good reader. Dropping in vids is so fast and I haven't had any crashes or freeze ups. Hoping I'm not jinxing myself. ![]()
I just logged in and am considering shelling out for a DC membership, but the ipad /flas thing is an annoyance. Caught this thread and remembered i saw a techcrunch post today about SkyFire. I just tried it @ $4.99 which allows you to watch flash videos (I am not sure if the one I tried here was mp4 or something else behind it). Seems to work ok.

I've heard good things about Skyfire, but like others have said, GoodReader is cheaper and works pretty damned well. Not as cool as our streaming player but still works pretty great for downloadable content. ![]()

Hey guys, I'm using vlc on my iPad and some of the dc vids I try playing on it says that my iPad is too slow to play. Anyone facing the same problem as me too??

I stopped using vlc becauase of that & switched to yxplayer, haven't had any issues so far.
Ok I'm kind of an idiot with this stuff. How do you us good reader to view the videos.
Go into GoodReader and copy/paste the link to the file and download it that way. Then it will show up in GR and you can watch it from there.
Got it. Works great. Just watched set up artist from my iPad.
i think many people have missed that on most videos you dont even need goodreader. Just click on download full mp4 and wait a couple of seconds and it will play/stream. I was shocked when it worked the first time. Some vids will not work that way but then you just open goodreader and play it from there.
DC is the best coaching site for ipad i think. Works almost flawless even without flash and no need to use a computer or syncing etc.
So just to confirm with Goodreader and sometimes just by clicking the download mp4 link you can download direct to iPad without use of laptop? and also if you download first can you playback anytime e.g. when you don't have wifi or cell connection?
Thanks

Yep - no need for Internet connection once the file is on your iPad.
