I haven't seen the introduction of the new season. I am not sure if I missed it somehow or if it's forthcoming.

I would like to know what the new season will be. It appears that we have a new series everyday but it seems like we are lacking something imo.

Is there going to be something more to augment this season? I hope so.

I am disappointed in what this season appears to be and disappointed in how DC appears to forgot to announce the new season.

I'm really sorry for all of the delays on this. We've had problems with the schedule and now Rusty (our production manager) has had a 2-day long internet outage. I understand that you guys are all waiting on this, and again, I'm sorry for the delay.

Just curious, what would you have liked to see different about this season? Because people complaining about "what has become of x", especially when it comes to paid services, is so overused and usually a pretty big exageration that I wonder if it's not more the personal reaction of a minority that is particularly displeased with what they are getting at the moment rather than a logical response to an objective decrease in the quality of the service. By the way, you forgot your theory as to why this horror is happening.

I would actually say that compared to other sites, DC's quality has kept at a somewhat acceptable level. I'm not crazy about the new season either, to be honest, but the state of the games sucks so much that I can't really blame it much on the coaches.

I don't know I guess a 6 max nlhe series at any stake, a name or decent coach doing a series, some mixed content and a tournament series. There is absolutely not one series that I am interested in watching this season. It is the first time that is the case.

This season, which they still haven't officially announced is far below my already low expectations. It's basically a loyal member for years who feels the site's quality and service has dropped below an acceptable level.

I understand that Black Friday has caused cutbacks and lowered the quality and quantity of series but there is only so far you can sink and still expect that customers would want to pay for your service.

Please let me what you see in this season and how things are being addressed whoever remains at the helm of DC that makes you want to remain a member.

Thanks for your comments. I have a hard time seeing comments like "pathetic" when I know how hard we work to deliver this content, but I'm willing to listen, and see what we can do to improve.

We've never been a site that revolves much around the concept of "big names." Despite that, we've got content from danzasmack in O8 for mixed game content, Ansky analysing MTT hands, Baluga and terp doing 6MNLHE, and a few more things planned that *will* be announced.

If there's a specific niche of content you're looking for more than anything else, let us know. Telling us that we're doing a pathetic job, while I'm sure it helps you vent, makes it harder for us to turn this criticism into something actionable. You're right that it's been tough since Black Friday, and we've worked our asses off to continue to release high-quality poker educational content. If we're missing the mark in some ways, there's only one way for us to find out - tell us! At the very least, hearing more specifics about what type of content people want to see can help us when we're fleshing out future content.

Say what you will about the rest of the season, but BalugaWhale (who I consider to be more than a decent coach) is doing a really fantastic series that covers 6max NL.

The pathetic comment was mostly for the fact that neither the announcement video nor an announcement post was made before the season started and still not out going into the second week of the season. I also think that the excuses of "technical issues" and "2 day internet outage by our production manager" are unacceptable excuses. Other videos are up. The season introduction video is usually 5-10 minutes and before you used that format, you made a thread. I also find this season appearing to be poor. When you put a poor season together with an unacceptable delay for an announcement the only word I can think of is pathetic. I am sorry you take offence to this word but it expresses what I feel about this season and it's announcement which still hasn't been announced.

Both BalugaWhale and Terp are doing niche 6-max nlhe series that I am not interested in. I was hoping that there would be a more standard one that would be more interesting or entertaining. Danzasmack is probably the only series that I am going to watch but it feels like it's the 6th season in a row that he did an O8 series. Ansky is doing tournament hand shorts. The last one was only 11 minutes. It is difficult to think of that as a series. It would be much better if we had tournament saturdays or sundays back and had a good series or 2 for that day maybe with jjyykk or another good tourney coach. The live tourney hands short series has been tremendously disappointing.

I would like some added mix content such as DD with TDL. Also, some coaches videos are barely watchable. I am not the only one who thinks the same things about particular coaches. I don't wish to point them out in this post. Perhaps you can have a survey sometime to weed out coaches that make videos that are almost universally disliked.

Personally, I think balugawhale's series is one of the better ideas for a series in awhile and I'm also excited to see how Terp's new series ends up. Should be a good season.
