Hey guys,
I've had problems with the audio while watching on my iPod for a number of the videos. Specifically, the audio cuts out at a random part in the video, to be replaced with garbled digital noise. The video portion remains watchable. Some more details:
* It never happens from the beginning of a video, it always starts up at some point in the middle.
* Once the audio cuts out, it never comes back. I can fast forward to any point later in the video and the audio will still be messed up.
* Resetting my iPod does not help. Neither does re-downloading the video.
* The error seems to manifest itself as no audio at all (i.e. no garbled audio) when playing the video in iTunes. (One of the videos I've seen this problem in is Shouldn't Fold - Ep 5. Audio drops out around 38:22.)
* I have an 80g iPod classic. 5G, I think, in case that's relevant.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
-Brian

Hey Brian,
I have a 5g (40gb) and I'd be happy to work with you later this week to try to confirm if it's in some of the specific vids you're downloading or if it could be something else. I can't test any of the files right now, but if you could PM or post the files that you've had problems with besides Shouldn't Fold #5, I'd be happy to check it out and see if I get the same problems.

Hey Rob,
I know I had problems with a number of other videos that are no longer on my iPod, so if you need a more diverse list of examples, please let me know. For now, here are some of the vids I've had issues with in the last week or two.
The times denote (approximately) when the corrupted audio begins.
* Donk to a Stud - Ep 6 - 31:45
* Donk to a Stud - Ep 7 - 40:50
* Shouldn't Fold - Ep 3 - 32:28
* Shouldn't Fold - Ep 4 - 28:23
* Shouldn't Fold - Ep 5 - 38:23
* Shouldn't Fold - Ep 6 - 15:03
I've watched all the videos in both of these series, so the other vids were fine, with the exception of Donk to a Stud, episode 5. The audio in that one is listenable throughout, but there are numerous times when the audio jumps or has other anomalies. One example in that vid is around the 31 minute mark.
Thanks again for your help. I'm actually headed down to Foxwoods for the weekend tomorrow after work, so I may not be back on to check responses until early next week.
