Play like a maniac while the stacks are deepish and try and build up before the levels get ridiculous. Alternatively play tight and hope to steal when the levels get big but this is a mistake IMO and more correct in NL tourneys. This is standard Tournament Poker for Advanced Players stuff. The guys who make money at tournaments bust early or have a big stack deep. Don\'t eek it out for four hours and go out near the bubble nursing 3 bb.

Have fun with that one guys... playing in limit tournaments all month long at WSOP/Binions, its as if I am playing a 2/4 limit game the opponents are so bad but I was still part of the first 5% of the bustouts. I made some adjustments to my play mid-game to compensate for the stack sizes, each time i asked myself WWJTD?

That actually was my plan, but when i say the game played like 2/4 limit i wasn\'t kidding - value betting increased in value, and semi-bluffing was all but worthless.It was an 2 will do type of game which is a frustrating environment when the blinds go up every 30 mins and you only have stack enough to play 4-5 levels at most (started off with 40BB). Limping wqith premium hands was more common than not, I saw 2x guys limping with KK after 2-3 limpers and just calling on every street - of course I love this, but its a but confusing in a tournament when your stack size is shrinking fast.
