$50NL SnG Joe Tall - 11/29/07

I have no idea what comes over me at times, but I jumped on FTP and BOOM, I\'m in a $50 SnG! In the first orbit I double up!!! Check out the action and feel free to let hear what you think right here!
one think I noticed is that you didn\'t adjust your M calc based on the number of players at the table. ataround the 13:30 mark you comment that your M is around 35 when the blinds become 25/50, but in reality it is only about a 2/3rds of that (around 24 or so) because you are playing 6-handed.
not that it makes a huge difference, but obviously when the blinds go up and another player drops your stack suddenly shrinks up considerably.
overall I felt like the big stack was picking on you knowing that as the second biggest stack you really wanted to avoid confrotations with the only guy that could knock you out.
I thought the ATo hand was a little loose, but if you are going to c/r the flop I would prefer a larger flop c/r, and just give up on the turn if he calls.
I thought the A7o fold was good, but the QTo shove was borderline. He had only minraised, so there wasn\'t a ton of chips to pick up, and the guy had already shown the predisposition to make really big \"hero\" calls for a lot of chips. You were pretty much tied in chips with the other med stack so I think waiting and trying to pick on the small stacks might have been better than trying to make a move on the guy with the chips.
interesting vid though, and I would definitely like to see some more. Any chance you could do a HORSE SNG?

I actually agree with what you have said. The ATo and QT shove are close, yes and I didnt really see any questions, sorry.
I will play a HORSE SnG, that would be fun.
i was just wondering if you thought I was off on the analysis. Thanks for responding Also just wanted to make sure you saw interest in a HORSE SnG.
I know you guys probably get a ton of interest in HE of all forms, but I\'m trying to figure out some of the Stud games, so any HORSE or stud videos of any kind would be super appreciated.
thanks again for responding.
I think the 2 most key hands played here were mistakes. First calling AI with 88 and gambling with chip stacks so deep is a huge mistake IMO. U are taking a gamble for what is very likely a situation where you have 50% or slightly less that 50% equity in the pot and are gaining less than thta amount in real money. The 88 is a clear fold. To an all in shove. The QT resteal, i do not believe to be a great play either. u really are best off just folding here, and waiting it out for a short stack to go out on the bubble. u can still fold for a long time and just wait it out. Your situation on the bubble does not warrant any desperate action, and your chip stack size relative to everyone eslese was fine. I think at this point you should have been looking to steal cheaply if possible. Other wise just fold and wait until you get inot push bot mode 10BB approx.
also with the 88 hand. it is very important to realize that in sngs most of the money is made on the bubble. Those that excell at bubble play make the most money and it is to your benifit you make sure you get there. risking going out so early is not worth it imo. Its just my style to fold there. I\'d be interested in seeing why you thought gambling that early is worth it.

I know I was talking general strategy at the time but did you watch the way that player was playing? I had 50% equity at the WORST. He could have easily had A2o, 75s, 22, Kxs, etc. He seemed intent on pushing ever hand.
