Advice on using the videos

What do you think are the most effective ways to use the videos to improve skills?
My thoughts include:
1. Take notes.
2. Watch more than once.
3. Ask questions here to clarify understanding. (I suspect that if I can\'t think of any questions I must have glazed over.)
4. Concentrate on the game you\'re playing (FR, 6-max, etc.) or on the one you want to start playing.
Other ideas? Do mine make sense?

Pause before a decision point, think it through yourself, decide for an action and see if it differs from the author\'s. It takes time, but it\'s useful in my opinion.

The most important thing you can do, IMO, is to talk to other people about what you saw and had questions on -- AIM is a great medium for this if you have poker friends who have memberships here, but our forums work great for that too!
