The turn call is only correct if you believe you have the best hand - looks like the pot is a bit too small to draw, especially since you have reverse implied odds because you don\'t know what you want to hit (ie: is another Q an out or not?).
I think the choices are turn fold or river call, don\'t hate a calldown given you don\'t know anything about him, but his flop checkraise is super strong because it looks like he wanted to checkraise the whole field.
If there were a flushdraw it would be an easier calldown for sure.

ok, so this is not so much an if, but a when question
1/2 6 max
first hand at table
hero has Qh7h in the BB
two limpers, 1 fold, sb chompletes, hero checks
flop comes: Q64r (one heart)
sb checks, hero bets, 1 fold, 1 call, sb raises, hero calls, 1 fold
turn comes K:
sb bets, hero calls
river comes: 9
sb bets, hero calls
couple things... turn call correct?
this is an amazingly simple fold on the river given the nature of the board etc., right? I somehow convinced myself villain would play 75 and the likes this way. I often talk myself into these types of calls :side: if there was a flush draw on the flop, does our river play change?

Post edited by: noob_sauce, at: 2007/05/26 10:40
