It took me a long time to switch away from gt+ but I finally did because pa 1) displayed showdown info where available meaning I don\'t have to look it up and 2) had solid support behind it. At the time I switched gt+\'s on-going development was a question mark (IIRC it was closer to dead than not). But if gt+ works with pgsql and being U.S. stuck mostly to just a couple poker sites, I could see myself using it today - I liked it alot and only ever really cared about pfr/vpip/agg anyway.
Another plus for gt+ (I could be wrong on this, don\'t really remember) is that I don\'t think poker site updates broke gt+ as can happen at times with pa. AFAIK pa is much more sensitive to poker site updates because of its greater abilities and although it\'s not the end of the world when it gets broken, it can be irritating at times wondering/finding out what\'s going on.
For me though one big minus for gt+ is that nowadays ppl use multiple dbs and if gt+ can\'t aggregate stats from them like pa does then that\'s probably the only reason I wouldn\'t switch back. It\'s also possible pa has spoiled me and I\'m so used to what it has that I don\'t realize gt+ is as inferior a product as it really may be.
This may not be any help but thems my thoughts.
