Villain is 50/17 over like 6 hands. That raise occurred when he raised (after a limper) w/ JJ in the sb, then went bet, bet, check on 46748.
At the time my thought was “I’m happy if he folds any King or Jack high, or maybe 7x or small pocket pair. Also, I’m happy if he folds after peeling weakly with a naked
.” However, looking at it, I’m not so sure there are enough of those hands that fold compared to the pairs, flush draws, straight draws, and Ace high peels that continue on the flop.
Wrong thought process? You make a bet with smaller flush draw or weaker straight draw? (I.e. 96 or 65)

Aside from making your hand, literally the best card in the deck rolled off, you have an automatic triple barrel against nearly anybody, even against a super high went to SD guy you have to triple barrel for the times he has a flush draw or straight draw that you can't beat at showdown. After watching your video today (it will be up next week guys) I am not sure you are open raising hands that make smaller flush draws or straight draws anyway (though you should be probably).

In giving away what happened, I did bet the turn, and he folded. I"m working on forcing myself to post more hands/do session reviews with other members, but this was the only hand I had from my short session today where I wasn't sure why/why not to bet.
I suppose this would have been a better question had I been forced to think about why I should bet the river. As it stands I was kind of looking in a vacuum about the turn decision. But thank you for the explanation.
