I'd just like to add that imo keeping a smallish amount online to play when you just dont feel like dealing with the casino atmosphere is something to consider.
DosXX talks about all the adjustments he's made in limit hold'em games since Black Friday.

Or playing a new/different game at smaller stakes.
nice vid. the sportsbetting/casino games don't really interest me personally but you're right that it's amazing how big of a draw it is for a lot of solid/thinking poker players. and i guess it can be argued that there are definitely +EV spots in sportsbetting, right?
i still am highly uncomfortable coldcalling first in (when playing live); can you give some examples of specific table dynamics where you would do it? is it a case of looking left and just seeing three guys giving off the I'M GONNA CALL vibe?

It's more like some there are definitely tables with 5 players left to act and three of them play 50%+ of their hands and that number goes up a lot when there is a raise and a call in front of them already. So understanding that certain guys will just be coldcalling way too much and take advantage of that. It also helps when at least one super loose guy is big or small blind as they will almost never fold unless it's HU.

I would say telling random poker players there +EV spots in sportsbetting is like telling random sports bettors there are +EV spots in poker. I'm sure you can find them, but it's not like bookies are just giving their money away.
