I think this hand is probably played correctly, but wanted to double check because of the size of the pot.
CO is a bit of a weak player because he calls with a few too many hands preflop. His opening range is a fairly standard 23% and he plays straight forward in pots like these postflop. BB is a regular running around 30/22, I don't expect him to get out of line preflop with his 4-bets.

I think we should be calling with our whole continuing range in this spot on the flop. The only issue I have is we give BB about correct odds to call with AK/JJ to try and spike on the turn. However, sometimes we don't have the best hand in which case its not an issue.

I'd definitely 3bet flop here, we have the best hand most of the time

Maybe I'm being overly concerned with balance, but I don't like the idea of only raising AQ+ and cold calling with the rest of our continuing range. Our hand then becomes pretty obvious when we do just cold call. Also, I'm never semi-bluff 3-betting this flop either as I think that would be pretty bad, so our 3-betting range then becomes pretty obvious as well.

I think it could be good to just cold call AA in this spot for example with plans of raising just about any turn card.

Running it through stove, I'm about chopping with CO equity wise, so I'm not sure I gain a ton when I do force out BB and give CO a chance to cap.

I'd be interested to know what range you give CO here when he raises the flop, that you are only chopping with him. I think its difficult to give him a range. I guess he will raise any pair and any queen, but he has a case for raising an awful lot more than that I guess.

I'd need some persuasion that this isn't an automatic flop 3 bet.

i like a flop 3bet - for value vs their ranges - and protection applies a bit - we wouldn't mind folding out a 3outer (overcard) which at this price would be correct to call for one more.

i don't think balance is quite as applicable in multiway spots as compared to heads up.

also, our flop coldcall looks pretty Significant anyway on this board texture so i don't think there's a lot of utility to the deception/balance stuff. i feel like the only things we'd continue with here are Strong anyway (we'd muck 88 type stuff right?)

remember there's also a lot of dead money in there so even if we give CO a strong range that we're only flipping with it's not a bad outcome

The read I had on CO was his range was basically Qx+, maybe TT/JJ when he raises this flop. I think he would fastplay a hand like A4 as well.
