Hey all
I think I won this pot with blind agression.

BTN is 72/11/22.04 over 18 hands
SB is 65/35/0/7.5 over 17 hands

Poker Stars $0.25/$0.50 Limit Hold'em - 5 players
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

Pre Flop: (1.4 SB) Hero is UTG with T Heart T Diamond
Hero raises, 1 fold, BTN 3-bets, SB caps!, 1 fold, Hero calls, BTN calls

Flop: (13 SB) 5 Spade 5 Diamond 7 Spade (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, BTN calls, SB folds

Turn: (7.5 BB) A Diamond (2 players)
Hero bets, BTN calls

River: (9.5 BB) J Spade (2 players)
Hero bets, BTN folds

I donked the flop after the SB checked as I put both villians on unimproved overs.
I was planning to b/f the turn. Given the river card I didnt want to check OOP but felt comfortable with a B/f/. Do others agree?

With BTN's stats, I'd be checkraising this flop for sure. Since you bet, betting the turn for value is fine. I'd bet the river as well, but it's for value, not as a bluff. Check-calling would be ok if he had similar stats over a larger sample of hands, but valuebetting as a default is fine.

You won this hand because you had the best hand. Smile

I think leading the flop is probably fine (Entity maybe you misread the stats as 22.04% aggression rather than 22% 3-b, 0.04 aggr?)

As played, I think B/F the turn is good. River is kind of an interesting spot. I think you might get more value with a bet, than a Ch/C. Ch/F river might good with a better read on villain.

Agree that you hand the best hand the whole way.

SB's play is terrible with just about any possible hand.

We don't have enough hands to judge whether he's aggressive or not - I'm just starting with the default assumption that because he capped, he'll probably bet.

Confused me why the SB capped then c/f the flop. I can only assume that he had misclicked or hold a non spade, broadway hand.

I meant to say 3-bet and was in position. If we had position on everyone, betting is pretty obviously the best play here, but I think checking will elicit bets from nearly 100% of his 3-betting range, and betting will mostly elicit calls.
