Both villains are competent regulars running at about 32/26 with relatively high 3-b percentages. I think HJ caps his big hands for value preflop. I don't cap any of my range in this spot pre if it matters.
Not sure if we should continue on this flop. If we do call the flop, should we continue on a brick Turn?

i think flop is an easy spot to fold. it's super rare even to find a scenario where we're ahead (KQ and 88 type stuff, or KJ and QJ) and even in those spots opponents have lots of outs against us, plus the positional advantage. it will be very difficult for us to play.
and we also are very low in our range, with no fold equity, which would seem to recommend folding as opposed to bluffing or semibluffing -- most of the time you're going to be stronger than this, either with Tx or a broadway gut, not to mention bigger pairs or Ax

Maybe I'm just over thinking spots against laggy regulars. I actually folded the flop when this hand played out, but thought it was close at the time. I think if we have the 9s it becomes a peel at the price were getting?

This, x2 since we aren't closing the action. Plus, it was an utg raiser right and btn 3! him.

yeah i think you might be overthinking/leveling yourself a bit...i'd still turbofold even with the 9s. the pot isn't enormous and being OOP is going to make it really hard for us to play it well

Against guys that aren't flat out maniacs ace high boards are just so brutal for you, he has mostly bigger pairs and Ax type hands (of course he has a few others but combo wise those are the vast majority), agree with fold flop
