Two Hands from last couple of sessions that made me laugh. Also, is it just me or do bad players bluff a ridiculous amount in dry side pots?

hi DC. I'm half-thinking of returning to poker after a LONG break but motivation still not strong enough to take the plunge and I'm pretty sure the mindset still needs a lot of work. good to see DC's fixed limit community is still alive and kicking! Take care all.

Hey should I be at all concerned about collusion here? Granted this was like my 5 hand at the table, I had MP playing 73/9 and Btn playing like 45/20. I suppose I could've called...

Definitely not. You'll need way more evidence, with showdowns, to suspect collusion.

Yeah when guys have those stats I wouldn't worry, MP is clearly just super bad at poker, probably a good fold

Yeah it was this. I was finishing up something else when I sat down and missed a couple of other hands where this guy played very poorly. I just got concerned since I hadn't seen this line without knowing the "rz/fold guy" was terrible.

Hey guys, I'm considering making a business trip out to LA in a couple weeks and would love to get some LHE in while I'm there. What rooms would be best to hit? Looking for 8/16-15/30ish. Hoping to find somewhere with minimal sketchiness where games at these stakes get off regularly. I'll only be out there for a few days so I'm don't want to have to bounce around to different rooms looking for a game if possible. What do you guys suggest?

Where in town are you staying? I think that would be the biggest deciding factor if you don't want to be stuck in traffic for a long time. In general you will find always find a game for these stakes at most casinos in LA, so I think the closeness is the hugest factor. In general, casinos are not in the nicest neighborhoods, but the clientele inside does not correlate with that (hit and miss).

Not sure where I'm staying yet. I've never been to LA and all I know for sure right now is that I will need to be able to get to the Los Angeles Convention Center easily. Glad to hear the games go regularly! You almost never see LHE games in FL above about 2/4.
