First question, do you bet againd here? i think he will not fold better hands, and maybe i find myself beeing raised and calling without knowing where i am.

He might fold his small PPs to a turn bet, 22-55. So there are a few better hands he might fold on the turn.

If I did check the turn, it would be with the intention of calling at least a turn bet. You have 2 overs & a gut-shot & sometimes the best hand which is enough for me to call in this spot getting 5.5:1.

Obviously pretty read-specific, but I think as a default I like a x/C here on the turn. The Jh puts a ton of draws on the board and I don't think you have much fold equity as a result. As both of you said, you're really only targeting small PPs, and you're going to have to fire a lot of rivers to get him off of them, so you're not getting nearly as good a price on a double barrel as it might seem.
