Beginner Limit Hold'em Poker Forums

This hand I didn't actually play, but the situation came up when reviewing some postflop play.

Villain in the hand is a Lag regular who 3-bets a wide range (say like top 25% in this situation), is very showdown bound, and barrels turn with a high freq on this type of board structure.

Are you peeling the flop here? If so, whats your plan on different turns?

Stove says its a peel based on simple equity, but I think its really close when we have to consider future action.

I think you can peel here although its kinda weak vs somone who will barrel heaps of turns.

Id fold any non K,5,6,7,3 turn

If you had a BDFD its a pretty easy peel

this seems like the specific opponent type where we shouldn't peel super thinly, although i agree it's not a huge deal in this specific hand

How do we feel about the idea of peeling 8, 4, or 2 Turns with plans of showing down on safe rivers (8s - 2s)? I found we still have surprising equity on these turns.

Problem with peeling here is were gonna have to pay three streets to realize our equity and we will get valueowned by all better hands and we have little/no reason to semibluff any turncards. So even though we might have decent equity its gonna be real expensive and i`d just fold
