My DC subscription runs out at midnight. Haven't decided whether to renew it or not. I've been a little bit underwhelmed by the most recent season apart from Math Attacks.

Well, spent the afternoon going back and forth on this one and in the end renewed for another 6 months.

I have dreams of going to see Fast Five, but haven't made it yet... I'm hoping to catch a show soon.

My other half dreams of seeing Fast Five. She has a "thing" for The Rock *and* Vin Diesel. I'm not sure I want to be in the theater when she's watching this film to be honest.

Some NC: I just started reading Hunter S Thompson's Fear and Loathing in America. I love him as an author.

I also just started watching Sparticus, and thought the first episode was really weak. anyone seen it that could comment on whether it gets better or not?

I watched all of Spartacus: Blood and Sand and really, really enjoyed it (watching the other season now). I didn't think the first episode was awful, but I did think it was the slowest/least entertaining of the whole season. It sort of just sets up the storylines for all of the other episodes. However, I do have friends who did not enjoy the show, but the reason was they did not care for all of the gore and other content that follows.

So basically, I think the you'll find the rest of the episodes more enjoyable, but if you make it through episode 3 and still aren't liking it, you can probably skip the rest.
