I wouldn\'t fold this river. As humans we\'re notoriously subject to overestimating our own confidence in our ability to be correct, and I\'d say that even my \"sure thing\" reads have the possibility of about 5% margin of error. If this guy can play a set, a straight, or even 2pr occasionally in a goofy fashion, then you\'re making a an error in a very large pot.

live 6/12 from CCC.

my river play is pretty bad. I am wondering if this is a bet/fold river...

Table is super loose and super passive (standard).

UTG is the only AG player and he stradles as he has done every orbit.

PRE:
UTG stradles, 4 guys and SB call, I call the BB with 57.

FLIZOP: 4c6h8c
I bet, UTG calls, I think the next 2 fold, CO and BTN call, SB folds.

TURN: 9d
I bet, UTG folds, CO and BTN call.

RIVER: Ac

I bet, CO calls, BTN raises and I fold.

BTN is never, ever raising 2 pair here. Anyone without the flush is just as scared of it as me. The A gives 2 pair to lots of these players range. I think lots of hands call this river.

Is this a bet/fold? Anyone play it different?

Very well put. I would say BTN would never, ever raise anything but a flush here. Everybody at this table is extremely passive and the river raise means the nuts. But, yes, I am wrong 5% of the time. Maybe I\'m being a little reslults oriented.

grunch, I\'d have to be 100% certain that villain doesn\'t get out of line here to make this laydown, I\'d rarely be that certain so I think I look him up for sanity\'s sake.

really??? he\'s getting 18 to 1 if CO calls behind!!! I didn\'t think it would ever be correct folding in this big of a pot.

FWIW... If CO calls behind and BTN tables A9 or some out of line caca I go on uber-monkey-tilt...
