Is this a bad spot to be vbetting here? My thought was bet/call then bet/raise a board pair or if it just went call call I'd check back a lot of rivers.

I'd bet twice for value even on a 5 river

and I would call down if I got raised on the turn

I mean I think it has to be, I doubt any .5/1 player will be aware enough to turn a hand into a bluff on such scare cards

Basically b/f any spade/4-to-a-straight river against a non-spaz HU (if it's still 3-way check behind) or b/c (possibly 3-bet) any other card.

What messes me up here is that someone in the hand had KK and flopped top set and I was basically drawing dead. People can play so incredibly bad in the 7 game that it makes it difficult for me to learn how to play well when I have no examples to follow.

And that is super good for you and saved you some $$. And when you save $$ it's just like winning $$.

If you don't loose a lot on a flopped set when you opponent has a better set it's either because you played it bad, he played it bad or the board just came sjliuouåøj.
