10/20 Borgata 10 handed
Hero is SB with A
5
Preflop: 6 folds, CO limps, BTN fold, Hero...
Reads: CO is bad, BB is tight enough that I can realistically expect to get HU fairly often if I raise PF.
Hero calls, BB checks his option
Flop (3 SB): Q
8
5
(3 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, CO calls, Hero calls
Elaboration on reads: BB has a pair here a lot and a draw not very often. CO is bad.
Turn (3 BB): A
(3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, CO checks
More reads: Hero is bad.
River (3 BB): T
(3 players)
Hero bets, BB raises, CO folds, Hero...

I think you can 3-bet the river and fold to 4. You messed everything else up for sure though.
Rob
Obviously I just called the river despite the fact that I was sitting there saying to myself, 'this is QT ALWAYS.' I guess I just felt that if I was going to play so badly I might as well make every street as lol as possible. At least if I had check/folded on the end I wouldn't have had to show my hand and I could deny anything even happened.

We were talking about this hand earlier. Does anyone favor leading the turn seeing as it's gonna get checked back quite a bit in live poker?
yes. also people fold pairs in live poker, so i wouldn't feel super confident about getting cd by a ton of villains value range.
