I bet Q high for thin value.

its a NC thread, so i wasnt going to say anything, but i think that bet on the river is pretty bad. i give up on the river. Jacks call, Aces call, worse hands (should) fold so the bet doesnt accomplish anything.

I have learned that LHE players can go play PLO and be okay but it doesn't work the other way around so much.

What i like about poker coaches is that they are able to break down and explain ranges and hands fast and easily.)

Yeah perhaps six is a bit too many. However don't u think that ranges is really up for debate? I mean with all the respect for the coaches it's impossible for any human to always acurately decide ranges. We have seen this in many videos where the coaches disagree.

So videos in which a coach breaks down the ranges "fast and easily" may potentially be missleading. Also in the vid I watched I felt like it was good discussion and interesting to hear how different players interprets actions very differently (depending on there personal experiences I suppose).

Have u watched Razor's edge btw? Do u use Pokerazor? I think that could be an interesting path if u feel u are stuck in ur learning.

LHE players seem to have more poker knowledge and understanding and are better at analyzing hands. That's probably why.

Hey DC

Not sure if y'all know but november is Movember! so grow your mustache in support of prostrate and testicular cancers.
DC should obviously grow awesome stashes and have a contest of some kind...??

(any coaches/founders/etc that read this... i might be overstepping by posting charity stuff, but this one is kinda fun... if its ok to post in the Gen Dis forum can you pm me?.. and if this is not ok, obviously delete it!)
here is the form letter the charity provided me to send out:

Hi,

I have decided to join a global movement that is bringing much needed attention to prostate cancer. I’m doing this by growing a Moustache this Movember, the month formerly known as November. My commitment is to grow a moustache all November and I am hoping that you will support my efforts by making a donation. The funds raised go directly to Prostate Cancer Canada.

What many people don’t know is that 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer to afflict Canadian men with 25,500 diagnosed and 4,400 dying from the disease each year.

Facts like these have convinced me I should get involved.

To make a donation, you can either:

• Click this link http://ca.movember.com/mospace/93979/ and donate online using your credit card or PayPal account , or
• Write a cheque payable to ‘Prostate Cancer Canada’, referencing my Registration Number 93979 and mailing it to: Prostate Cancer Canada, 145 Front Street East, Ste. 306, Toronto, ON M5A 1E3, Canada.

All donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Prostate Cancer Canada will use the money raised by Movember for the development of programs related to awareness, public education, advocacy, support of those affected, and research into the prevention, detection, treatment and cure of prostate cancer.

For more details on how the funds raised from previous campaigns have been used and the impact Movember is having please click [HERE].

Thank you

Lol! This is a level right?

We should try posting this on two-plus-two or the NHLE forums here. Should start a nice "debate" Wink

Seriously though, the disciplines are so different. Much though I'd love to agree, cos then I'd make a fortune playing NHLE.

(Okay, so I'd have to claw my way out of micro LHE first Poke Tongue)

My brother and I just prop bet on who could come up with the weirdest tattoo design. He sent me into one of his friends who's an artist to be the judge. (The guy doesn't know me.)

My entry: A unicorn with a machine gun shooting rainbows - under it in cholo. "Believe in Magic - Kill em' with Kindness"

I never even got to pitch Matt's.... the guy threw me out for fucking with him.

After giving the guy $50, he agreed to draw it up for me. I can't wait to see it.
