Wow, leak buster is a nice tool to play with. I especially like the way it breaks out ranges from the blinds. Going to dig into it a bunch over the weekend I think, but looks like I'm a terrible river player who can't beat maniacs and plays too laggy in position.
If only rob had pointed these things out to me over and over and over while he was coaching me...

I think you're a good player. I remember when you made a J high river call against me in a headsup pot in the homegame that was a good call against my range. I happened to have the top of it, but it was an impressive call that most wouldn't have made nonetheless.

Is there enough 1/2-2/4 action on ipoker to consider putting half my roll there with a decent VIP deal? Can I count on there being 2-3 tables at any given time? Any comments on sslhm traffic on ipoker would be very helpful.

I think i'm usually willing to do some things that seem foolish, but that I believe in. otoh, I've always been a weak river player, dating back to 2004. I was a horrible value-bettor at one time and I suspect that while I bet thinly, I don't balance with bluffs well and where I do bluff, I bluff transparently.
It's always been kind of a mess for me though, like I said.
I did find it interesting that 7 of my 10 "worst enemies" as it were all had vpips over 65 and pfr over 30. I'm going to chalk it up to major runbad.
Hey, I served under a major runbad in the army.

could be standard caus. certainly was true for me last time I looked.
since we go out of our way to find these maniacs and play a lot of hands against them, it stands to reason we will lose the most vs some of them. As you say, had the cards run differently, they'd be our best friends rather than worst enemies.

I can only talk from my experience a year ago playing these stakes but I found for the most part there were a fair amount of decent(ish) regs at 1/2, 2/4 though I think most of those regs have either moved up in stakes* due to the lack of limit in general on Ipoker now thanks to the Italians and French being removed or they've moved over to another site. I'm sure the games are beatable but I don't know if it'd be wise to put half your roll on Ipoker just due to the lack of limit games running in general and the rake at the smaller stakes.
For the most part though I find the 2/4 - 5/T games play pretty much the same.
Recently though I've been playing some hands on Full Tilt and I find the games to be way easier then the Ipoker games, at least at 5/10 - 10/20.
I've just opened up Ipoker and it seems right now there are 3 2/4 games running that seem to all have a decent amount of limpers so maybe due to the regs leaving (due to the French leaving) the few games running are actually overall better now, either that or it's just because it's Christmas.
*Not to say that moving up in stakes just because there are few games running is a good idea but it's something I noticed certain people do some months ago. Started off with a few 2/4 - 3/6 regs suddenly jumping into 10/20 - 20/40 games and then I saw a whole bunch of others suddenly becoming regs in all the 10/20 - 50/100 games. Not sure what triggered it but I imagine there was some 'well if he can play that high so can I' one-upism type stuff going on, I dunno, it's weird.
