I just wanted to publicly thank Chuck for joining us on this episode. Obviously getting to hear from two successful players was a great benefit to me and I think it made for a great video. Even when Chuck and Rob agreed about a play it was very interesting to hear their thoughts as they often had slightly different perspectives or ways of explaining how they think about the play of hands.
Rob - is this episode supposed to be number four or five?

Heh. Episode four. Renaming now. Five is how many hours of sleep I got, which apparently isn't enough.

Excellent, Excellent video!! If I mash the 5 star button twice, is that giving you 10 starts? cause I want to.
Please if logistics allow to do more videos with two or more admins.
The discussion between the two of you is priceless and complimentary.
have you ever considered doing 2 or 3 admins and taking hands/questions off of the forums etc.?
1) I think I am folding too many gutshots on the flop.
is a gutshot 10 outs a good portion of the time?
2)Entity, you have a good way of expressing ranges and how you go about changing them in your head.
I am working hard on ranges at the moment. Do you have any advice on how to learn them, how to manipulate them etc...?
3) I have suggested this before but, and you did some of this in this video. How other player types see things, flops, bets etc. And how we can use this info to our advantage interests me.
I tend to give my opponent too much credit, and this hurts me in the long run.

Dammit!
I DL'd this, converted it, plugged in my PSP to load the vid onto it when I was eating breakfast and forgot to push the button to move the file over!
I was pissed when I got on the train and found out the file was not on my psp!
Oh well guess I have 3 limit vids to watch tomorrow

That's why I've been constantly pushing for DeucesCracked podcast or similar format. I think that having interaction in the commentary is always really valuable and generates content that would have not come out with just one person monologue.

This is one of the best videos ever produced by Deucescracked.
I really appreciate that two episodes were devoted to playing overcards. Like PH, overcards on a missed flop/turn is one of my biggest problem areas. These last two episodes have really helped me in reading boards that are good/bad for betting. Conversely, I think that these episodes give some good insight on how to play when you are on the other side when you suspect the villain has two overs. Very good content.
Having Danza on board for this episode was amazing as well.

Entity, did you post the AK on the button hand? I couldn't find it.
I did an Evaluator on the turn when the seven paired. You said you didn't think you have 33% equity here. You were right. Try 15%!!! Wow.
Very, very nice job, guys, and I think it's right up there with the best yet.

No, he didn't. I think it'd still be kind of interesting to do. Maybe on 2+2 or someplace that is less likely to have seen this video. Actually maybe I'm blowing the cover here and he was going to post it next week or something...

Here are the questions I have on video 4:
1) Minute 19: when hero raises AK on the button and the BB calls, you discuss the villain's range. During that discussion Entity says that most players wouldn't 3-bet out of the BB with KJo. He says that mostly "extreme LAG's" would do that.
Is that really true? I thought it the standard good play to 3-bet out of the BB against a button steal raise with KJ.
2) Minute 22: Flop 9Q3 rainbow. You speculate about how the villain would play various weak paired hands in this spot (98, 97, A3, etc). Are you presuming that the opposition is passive enough not to c-r those holdings? How high in limit can you go before that presumption is no longer true?
3) Minute 52-54: On the hand where hero raises UTG with AK (J48J two club turn), you have a really outstanding discussion when you talk about why a player in the SB would be wise to make a checkraise move on the turn against a button raiser but not an UTG raiser. What an amazingly sophisticated point, thanks for sharing it with us!
4) Minute 67-68: On the 8J77 rainbow texture, you discuss how leading out from the SB with 76, for example is a good play, but that raising for a free showdown with 99 or TT is a poor play because you are pricing yourself in for three bets.
I would 100% agree with that if you were the button raiser pf with that hand. But does the scenario change if you are the BB with 99 or TT and you get donked into? It seems like you might want to raise to get the third (button) player out along with the ancillary benefit of a possible free showdown. I realize that the BB having 99 or TT is not a possibility in the real world given the preflop action, but let's assume for the sake of discussion that this was the case.
Also this is highly opponent specific. Some people donk with trips in this spot and others donk with complete air.
5) I believe both you and DanzaSmack raise the point several times during the video of the importance of check-raising the turn with solid top pair hands to set up turn check-raise semibluffs in other spots since, as you say, people typically want to put you on a semibluff. Is this a situation where different limits will present different permutations of whether you have fold equity or not? What I mean is, at what limits and against which opponents will establishing the "legitimate hand" turn check-raise allow you to get away with a semibluff turn checkraise?
