Beginner Limit Hold'em Poker Forums

Villain is 42/3 (Full Ring stats) over ~25 hands. Haven't seen him show down anything postflop yet.

Is folding this flop fine? If your calling the flop, are you calling down on most turn/river cards? As you can tell by how I played the hand, I wasn't really sure what to do.

I would never fold flop.

With this villain read, I prob play the same.

I have toyed with lines like raise flop, check turn and river UI again these types of villains.

I wouldn't fold the flop.

What to do afterward is close. I would probably tend to call down, but I think a turn fold is probably fine too. I don't think I would call down with A high (although I would raise preflop), and A high and a pair of deuces is pretty much the same, so like I said it's close.

I think folding the flop is never a huge mistake. Look at his stats... is this villain going to beat us in he long run by bluffing us?? He has plenty of Kx in his sb limping range. If he has any type of draw then he also has 2 overs and the pot is 2 small bets!! If he keeps betting then calling down seems terrible to me. And if he checks to us then I dont even think we can value bet. I think folding and moving on could be good.
