sup guys, i talked it over with DC and we are going to be making a second FR LHE series after this one. so, we are changing our plans a bit. we are going to have this series focus more on smallish stakes, say .5/1 to 2/4 or so, and then the second series is going to focus on middish/high stakes, say 3/6 to 10/20 or so.

the idea is that way we get tons more content at each level hopefully to keep everyone happy, since i have gotten lots of positive feedback so far!

i am still going to be keeping the WSOP/live poker theme throughout both series, making lots of references and comparisons to live play. we decided that since a .5/1 or 1/2 or 2/4 game online is still going to be as hard or harder than a 15/30 or 30/60 live game, that the comparisons will still work and prepare you guys for Vegas!

anyway thanks for continuing to watch, and as always, i welcome any and all feedback.

Anyway, I got some stuff:

9:12 Apple Lisa FTW!

33:45 KTs really an easy raise UTG? I don't want to start a retarded pre flop discussion but isn't it too loose? I thought KJs was too loose also...

40:00 98s for me it would be flipping a coin to valuebet or not, it would depend on the opponents, image, table dynamic, etc. My question is, would you have paid off when he would have bet the river?

43:40 QTo. With the 3rd player tagging along, would you discount your outs since he could be on a flushdraw and when you hit you still loose? I often take these sort of things in consideration when players are tagging along but it might be just plain wrong. Also, as played I think I could never bluff the river against this player considering your 'history' with this player (it's the same that snapped off the Q8o bluff with a rivered 6 right?)

52:11 77o. Pre flop is perfectly fine imo.

58:25 "Change that deuce to a four". Second time you say this. I don't get it?

1:07:48 Cujo

1:11:45 What would you do on the turn when called and the turn card didn't improve your hand?

Please try to get the resolution a bit more clear in the next episodes, I would like to see some stats on the players.

40:00-I thought this hand was really interesting, I wouldn't bet the river for the reasons you gave
I think your bet has no value and in the video I think you were a little optimistic with what hands would call down. I don't think I'd ever bet hoping to get called down by AQ high in these games

I'll work with babar to get the resolution better in future vids.

Also, those of you who are putting timestamps in manually should look into using the new flash player!

That way the rest of us can easily click those timestamps and jump to what you're talking about super easily. Smile

I used the comment from timeline tab and it didn't save it, I actually had to go back and edit my post to include the time

I dont' know if this is something anyone else is having a problem with or not.

9:12 apple lisa confirm.

33:45 KTs i wouldn't say it's the easiest raise ever, but there was 1 guy sitting out, and the suited broadways play really well. KJs i also open utg. remember when you're playing a fairly laggy style that i am, you have to open a fair number of hands that are neutral-ish or slightly -EV in a vacuum, imo, because it will increase the value of the rest of your range down the road and overall be profitable.

40:00 98s yes i would have called the river if he bet - big pot, one bet, closing action, he can every now and then be barreling or bluffing something worse since i have just called every street and don't look strong.

43:40 QTo yea there's a bit of discounting going on for sure, but i think it was still okay. definitely a delicate spot. i agree with you that there's not really any value in a river bluff. the other thing is that sometimes i have the best hand vs his bs flushdraw anyway, and a bet is really only getting called by better hands.

58:25 joe tall reference

71:45 i would tend to fire again on most cards, maybe checkfolding kings and queens is fine.

am definitely working on the resolution, i thought i had it fixed this time (it looks great on my computer) but apparently not. damn you apple lisa!!

yeah, you can hear me when i'm dissecting the hand say that i think it was too thin and that i valuetowned myself Smile

I can't recreate it sorry, I used the "comment from timeline" tab, posted my response, "post reply" and it posted it without the timeline.

I had to edit my post and include the time. Saying it didn't save it was probably bad wording.

fwiw i was using firefox on osx but, now it looks like its working fine
