Hi there,

I am back from playing no limit, so maybe some actions still are looking still weird. Wink

I had this hand in my session today and I do not really know what my action on the turn should be:

Poker Stars $1/$2 Limit Hold'em - 5 players - View hand 824757
The Official DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

Pre Flop: (1.5 SB) Hero is BTN with T Heart T Diamond
2 folds, Hero raises, SB calls, 1 fold

Flop: (5 SB) 7 Heart A Club 3 Diamond (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls

Turn: (3.5 BB) 2 Diamond (2 players)
SB bets, Hero???

Villian is unknown as it was just played a couple of hands at that table.
I tend to call the turn and re-evaluate the river.
Is a flush draw likely here?
Any comments would be appreciated.

Cheers

Ax is somewhat likely, but there's plenty of 7x/3x/random PP/ wheel draw/flush draw/total air to call the turn and call any river.

^ this. I like a calldown against unknown as well and think it's probably profitable. It's a weird way to play Ax, and it seems more likely to be a draw or semibluff than a monster, although you will lose sometimes. If he shows up with Ax, you can make a note that he takes this line for value with strong hands.

Call and get to SD. As others have probably said, this can be everything from an ace to a FD, or even air.

I think a lot of times villain can have 7x or 3x and just not know what to do on this turn so he donks out. I agree with calling turn and river and then making note of how villain played this hand.

Definitely call down. I think a flush draw is very likely.

Why did you give up on NL by the way did you find it harder than limit? Everyone solid over on that side?

To make a long story short. I started playing FL FR two years ago and switched to NL 6max last year because most of my friends played it in a home game and I wanted to play with them. (No love for FL btw.)
I grinded myself up to 100NL but had to admit that my willingness to stuay NL was limited because I find it quite boring to play.
Therefore I decided to go back to FL but will try the shorthanded games though.
I still have to adjust my game as I still use a lot of NL thinking at the table.
