Few questions on this hand. SB is 83/10/46AqF, 52% WTSD over 256 hands. He has a 45% flop donk bet percentage.
Would the presence of this enormous fish sway you into folding this PF? I open 22 from the CO in most lineups, but I'm not sure how well it plays with a good TAG BB and a really loose showdown bound fish coming along every hand.
What hands in your range would you check on this turn against this player? And what's the worst hand you'd call the river with?
This may seem standard, but I have a read that he'd donk most of his FDs on the flop, and c/r most of his Ax hands on the turn. So his c/c c/c donk line felt like a pair almost every time. Or is htis guy just too spazzy to ever fold?

Would like to know his tendencies vs steal.
fold to steal
3bt vs CO open
I can go either way, but if I did open I would be doing it solely for fold equity & set value.
Postflop: did you just double barrel a calling station with 1-2 live outs on a non scare turn?
So his c/c c/c donk line felt like a pair almost every time.
if this is your read, why did you call river?

I don't like opening 22 from the CO with a good BB and too loose SB. The other way around and I open.
I would probably play it the same. He has a pretty high donk flop % so I'd expect him to let you know if he has a pair, FD, or str8 draw, but maybe he has air one time?? I'd call and find out

I play it the same. I think preflop is close, but can't be wrong. On the river I see all kinds of bluffs here, so I like the call. That said, a lot of fish will play 8x this way, even A3 or something sometimes.

yeah this.
I'm calling here thinking about the missing FD (however any GS has you beaten now except 35). I agree with SIide many fishes will play any A this way (at least I found a lot of fishes c/c twice and donk river with TP+)

This is interesting as I have had the same problem. I would be interested to know how other people adapt to a showdown bound fish, whether they isoraise with a tighter range and barrel less.
I have been folding these on the river, expecting to see a 4, 6 or 8 in his hand. I am not convinced you are good often enough. I don't know if I have been doing this right though tbh. Obviously if you have seen him check back rivers when he has nothing it helps to know where you are at.
