Nina, I've been thinking about your post for some time now because it's a tough problem you're facing, and the usual "watch EPTPE" just won't cut it. I have never experienced as profound a run of runbad as you have, but on a much smaller scale I have been there and felt exactly the same thing. I've noticed the same changes in my game - getting weak/tight and MUBSY, plaing passively, etc. It feels horrible, and I have had the feeling that my game transformed into losing poker in the past.
A few months ago, I switched to a slightly trappier style where I checked back much more turns than before. This was because I noticed (with the help of my coach) that most players fired way too many stupid second barrels. To adjust, I got a bit trappier and waited for the turn without initiative and checked back more turns to exploit this general tendency. What I found, however, was that I took it too far, and was giving players free cards to draw out on my marginal hands. What finally broke me out of this pattern was watching a lot of vids of guys who semi-bluff a ton and fire a ton of second barrels (TheBryce and Danzasmack, for instance). I started playing this style for a few days, and was able to revert back to a happy medium from there. SO, one suggestion I may have for you is to try going to another extreme. Play like TheBryce for a bit and see if it helps you snap out of your funk.
Hope this helps - you're far more experienced than me and you've faced more runbad than I ever have - so I have no illusions that I can offer sage advice.

Also Nina I just saw your post. Have you considered learning a new game? That is my favorite way to freshen things up. I've had some bad periods of run bad sometimes going so far as to just go busto and usually when I come back I need to move to a new game for a while. Mixing it up keeps me in action without losing passion or doubting myself since it is okay when I lose at a different game, and I am a good enough overall player to make noticeable gains in short periods of time that make me feel good about myself again.

I HAS A STALKER!
So I'm trying to get huhu action on stars and this guy with a good ptr sits with me, i refuse to play him, he won't take no for an answer. Everytime i get up, he follows me, preventing me from playing anyone else. I disable search feature, he persists. I emailed support and they said they can't do anything about stalking. I decide i'll play my btns and leave until he stops, cuz I thought it was 50/50 chance of getting a btn on stars, so if i get half the btns and keep quitting after my btn i'll have 2/3's of the btns and he won't be able to get an edge and he'll leave me alone. But it appears that if i try to do that, Stars keeps giving him the btn on each new table, which doesn't seem right to me. Maybe i just ran awful on the 50/50 chance of getting a btn, but he was like 10 for 10. Does anyone have any insight on this? am i just prevented from playing anyone but him on stars as long as he wants to keep this up? Doesn't seem right to me.

There's a decent chance the dude is tilted out of his gourd and playing him wouldn't be a total waste.

He'll get bored of stalking you eventually if you just refuse his action.

If you sit on the left on a fresh table (no button showing), you get the button 100% of the time.

Bah it's more special when he 3-bets the turn, calls you cap and still calls river
Or like my buddy last night who x/r called A-high on a board showing trips and then decided when Quads hit the board he'd be sporting and call.
I like people like that....eventually
