i would start by 3betting pre, i just think sometimes you can get mp to fold and get hu ip with dead money vs more than likely a wide-ish range
as played i def raise the flop and think you can probably make good arguments for calling the flop and raising the turn since SB double barrels most of his range on this peel friendly board

Agree with the 3-bet preflop for reason ben already mentioned. As played, I really like raising the flop and betting most turns and rivers for value, especially if your heads up by the turn. Your going to get a lot of value from 3s, 4s, flush draws, and Ace hi as well as fold out a lot of 6 outer over card hands from MP on the flop.
I don't like calling the flop, waiting for the turn to raise rather than just raising the flop. Besides the reasons I mention above, there are going to be a lot of 'scary to you' turn cards that you are now not comfortable raising. You also allow a lot of flop peels to potentially pick up a lot of equity on the turn so that they are now seeing the river, even for 2 big bets. That said, once you call the flop, you have to raise this turn and assuming MP folds, value bet most rivers against the SB.

Meh, I'm fine with preflop. 3bet is ok too, but I think calling is slightly better. MP just never folds, imo, and I don't have going to the flop without the lead since we have nice position on SB. I'd probably be more likely to 3 vs a button raise, but even then, we're talking shades of grey.
Multiway, I just raise the flop. This would be a nice board to wait for the turn hu though.

I see people limp/fold the sb or even the btn from time to time for 1 more SB. I think it's reasonable to assume mp is folding some percentage of the time in this spot. We have value vs that range anyway which is why I prefer the 3b.

I had this exact same situation happen again with 66 and everything I took the 3bet PF raise flop line, and since I turned a set it was obv the correct one!
