Ok kids, I was thinking of organizing a DC HULA (Heads Up Limit Assoc.), which is a team huhu tournament.
It'll be for low-stakes (a flat tourney buy-in of a small amount) and is for fun and learning, not profits. Basically, it's a tournament where teammembers play HUHU freezeouts against members of other teams in a round-robin format. I'll explain better and in more detail once we figure out how many people are interested.
It's fine if you don't play much huhu or are just learning. We can track results and discuss hands on the boards here, and perhaps record some matches on video.
Respond here if you'd be interested in playing. We'll give it a few days to gauge interest, and then I'll organize everything more formally. Thanks!

I dont wanna pressure anyone... but it would be pretty sweet if the some of the limit coaches participated, too! Maybe they could be captains or whatever.
Ooohh...we could make them captains and implement a draft so we can see what all the LHE coaches think of of our respective games!
PS - if that does happen the LHE coaches should know that jaybeastie and I had an argument the other day about who sucks more at HUHU.

I hate that thing so much.
Also - I first "met" Rob when I pwnd him super hard in HULA.
Any correlation between these two statements?
Did the abovementioned pwning include flopping str8s against top two, a decent amount of full houses and him always bluffing into your top pairs?
Seriously though, great to have you on board obv.

Actually playing Rob was fine. It was just "hey can you play now?" and we played.
I had planned to spew for like 20 hands and then tighten up a bit. But by the time I had to tighten up I hit all flops ldo.
It's just annoying to a) organize with people and b) see people post about how bad you are. All love in the room and I'm in.
