ghkzy...I was running bad for a couple of months before the last HG as well.

I'm not sure how the rest of the players have done since then but I can say that I really picked up a lot of knowledge and plugged a few leaks as a result of playing in and participating in the discussion from the last one. Just make sure that you try to really grasp some of the things that get discussed after the fact and it should help you in the long run.

Hopefully Pyg will participate in the discussion of this one as well. Otherwise we have a lot of great poker minds lurking about that may participate in the discussion as well.

yeah I think these homegames and the discussion afterwards are a free coaching session I would have loved to be in for that reason alone plus it's fun to play with fellow DC'ers...

then again you should not try to make a lot of money, playing a homegame is one of the worst table selection possible I think, if it is too much of your roll I don't know for sure if it's good to play in one of the thoughest games in the .5/1 stakes
