Why is it that the worse someone's PTR graph is, the hotter he runs against me?

Don't try this on an opponent who is paying attention to anything.

Okay, I need to make something clear. I am PH. At least around DC and certainly on the LHE forum. If Phil Hellmuth Jr. wants to lay claim to the initials here then I propose a contest:
He and I will each take turns sneaking up behind Annie Duke with our t-shirts removed. Only if he is more impressive to her will I relinquish the initials.

where people are just for validation rather than information.
validation is important for beginners.
for instance, I will post a hand with all the information I used to make decisions and check with the community if my thought process was okay. It's not about whether I won the hand or not. It's whether I played the hand correctly from street to street given what I knew about the villain.
Sometimes the feedback will be "yeah, that's about right" or no feedback which I take to mean "standard, ldo" but other times it will be expanded info like "I think your range for villain in that spot is too narrow" or "with the rake, I wouldn't even open that hand from CO" or even "I don't like the turn play, did you have a plan for different river cards?"
I think people should be asking questions that make the hand in question apply to a broader range of hands. Yes specifics help out a ton but only when we are extrapolating it to other situations
I am getting to a point where I can deal with some abstract hand discussion but I can tell you when I first joined DC I couldn't cope with stuff like "change the turn card to an 8 and make the villain a LAG then this play might work".
Even after 15 months of part time study, I still can't watch videos where one hand is debated for 10-15 minutes in various permutations (e.g. some of Entity and DD's high stakes videos). It just goes over my head and I lose interest. No doubt in time I will come back to these videos and cherish every second.

Maybe since I am high stakes now I do not understand this very well and I sympathize but try as hard as you can low stakes grinders. We won't hate you for trying!

If you don't mind a good deal of variance, the games are goooood.

Technically I'd say Dewey WINS the bet. The bet was that he had the best hand, NOT that he'd hold.
