Huge +1 here. I think this is quite possibly the most damaging thing with PTR in terms of running fish out of the game.

I'll rephrase... they are not winners in my book. That's not about a positive or negative sloping graph as it is, these people are just losers IMO (assholes, yes, good way to put it).

i agree that this would be a noble effort and am happy dc put so much effort into investigating it. i also agree that the best all around fix to neutering PTR is to end permanent screen names.

this might be the best thing that could happen to online poker...playing hu im all for it...this would generate soooo much more action for me...it might have a knock on effect where by the skill levell might be pushed even higher...might be wrong here but...if game selecting got harder you would have to get better right? but if you were better than the game you played in due to putting more effort in that others...and those others had no choice but to play vs you as they wudnt know who you were...then that couldnt be a bad thing could it??

what about even just having seat numbers instead of screen names...i know this is in use on a number of the smaller networks already

goose, people can still quit. they just might not be able to quit before they start by filtering out winning players or won't quit so soon once they look you up, etc. I think in general, the games would get harder over time anyway (just people learning more and improving)

yea they can defo still quit...but only after working out that they dont have an edge...meaning im getting some action from them, instead of them not even posting a blind because they know who i am

the games getting harder isnt a bad thing if your getting tuffer to beat aswell, your not wrong what you said all the same.

i was destroying until they removed the profiles, now im getting destrooyed because stars has so many bots working for them not PTR cant expose them anymore.
