I am in the big blind. I have AA. Fish opens. I raise, he calls, flop comes Txxr, I bet, he calls, the turn is a nothing and I ....
windows 7 freezes once more.

I have had this problem for a while now and I am sick of it. I just lost 50$ because whenever I restart, it just keeps freezing.

Sometimes it doesn't happen for a month, and then all of a sudden 4 times in a row.

I have re-installed my windows, but no effect. I just smashed my keyboard.... I am that sick of it

some ICT whizkid that understands whats going on here and what I can do about it?
It really doesn't feel comfortable playing knowing my fucking PC might freeze at any time.

"get rid of windows" meh

Seems to be a hardware problem or possible driver issue.

Its not that. I am reading now on google that lots of people have the same problem while trying to switch hardware and shit.

I am terrified. I can't even play. I can't imagine playing with the idea i might get into a 150 bb pot and lose because of my PC

but tbh, lots of whats being said here is like another language to me: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-system/random-freezes-with-windows-7-64-bit/85cad5d1-dace-415d-9b06-5c609209e232?page=4

Exact same thing happened to me last night, I flopped a set on one table and aa pre on another, windows turns blue and computer restarts. Windows is horrible, I really almost only play on my mac which has never crashed unless I was doing something weird. The internet connection is more stable too. Honestly if I ever were playing larger stakes for real money id never play on a windows machine.

lol, I wouldn't listen to him, doesn't seem like he knows what he's talking about. Listen to uselink, might be a driver or hardware problem.

Yes. I am trying to figure it out.
I have like 5 High definition audio drivers, all the same by the way. If click off one, my music is dead.
Not sure

some guy says:
"I looked for driver conflicts as others said this was a problem. What I discovered is that between my motherboard, my graphics cards, and my creative xFi card, I had many audio drivers running! I disabled all but one. "

same happens to me all the time. Just freezes and when I restart it's really slow. After another restart it's all good again. Horrible, sometimes doesn't happen for a week, then again 3 times a day... tilting.

I use Win 7 and it's only frozen on me when I've left my PC on for too long without a reboot. Could it be a memory leak?

I would assume that system errors are logged somewhere, if this is the case find the log file and ask someone to check it out.

That's all I can think of Frown

how much of a hassle would it be for you to just reinstall windows?
I mean win7 installs pretty quickly and you're good to go in no time if you dont have to backup shitloads of stuff
