Just wondering what people's thoughts were on this issue. Which one presents a better value for your money. Would it be better to play in a $1500 wsop event or several deep stack events. Was planning on making the trip this year, but caved in to my wife and doing home repairs instead. Maybe next year. I'm sure the payouts are much lager for series events but I haven't really compared the blind structure vs starting stacks.

The difference is much longer blind levels at WSOP, 2hour levels, I believe the Venetian is 40min to 1 hour levels.

I was there last year and played into the money in a Venetian deep stack 2nd chance tourny... blinds were only 20min and 30min at final table but still fun. Believe the 2nd chance was a $140 tourny...had around 225 starters. paid top 27.

The larger buy ins at Venetian are much bigger starting stacks aren't they? The $1500 wsop is 4500 starting stacks and I think the $600 deep stack is like 12000 starting stacks. Although I think blind levels at wsop increase less early than deep stcks.

sounds about right. Both have good value. alot of play with blind levels and stacks.

Venetian gets you more play per dollar by far
