back to doing the funsteps. I played a limit game, I couldn't get a hand and the blinds took enough moeny from me to where i cant buy in anymore. I didn't get lucky and didnt get the cards. I had no chance...

that's what the rebuy is for, to let you gamble away the money in your account!

If you spent as much time focusing on learning as you did focusing on how unlucky you are, you'd be pretty good by now....

and to your stupid points, no matter how much I fucking study or watch videos, you cant defend some idiot catching cards all damn day. there is no defense for that. either you have the cards or you dont. you call that skill, but its luck not skill

The fact is that you are in denial. Do cards matter? Absolutely. But poker is a game of decisions played over the long run. Make better decisions than your opponents, and you will make money. It's that simple. I really just think people read a couple books and watch a few videos and think they should just be expert poker players. It doesn't work like that. Nothing in life does. You have to put in a ton of hours to get good at anything. If you don't want to put the work in, that's fine, but don't tell a bunch of winning poker players that it is all luck and the games are unbeatable. That's just being naive imo.

this is what I mean by its all luck. I hit a straight king high, and some asshole that shouldn't have been in the hand takes my stack because he hits his flush (super low flush) on the river. he shouldn't have been in the hand to begin with. there was no defense for that hand period, you cant win unless you get great cards period because some asshole is going to call all day with nothing and end up hitting 9 times out of ten

doesnt matter how much work I put in. my straight would have been luckily beaten even if I read 16 books before I played today.

Posting a bad beat doesn't prove anything other than the games are profitable. If I get my money in with more than 50% equity, how can I lose?

Why is anyone responding to this guy anymore? Sounds like a huge waste of time. He claims it's all luck and he plays good, but yet it's very apparent to anyone with skill that op has no skill. Op could have skill but instead of studying he complains and therefore will never have skill!

And hey OP, you ever think part of the skill in poker is knowing when to fold? Knowing when your straight, flush, top pair, full house, etc etc is beat?
