I was just browsing 2+2 today and noticed that there's a big stink rising up that as of today Everleaf is no longer allowing US players as a backlash from supposed threats from the Dept. of Homeland Security? This seemed strange, but if true, I was just wondering what people's thoughts are when it comes to Merge? I don't really want to start a shit storm, but it would be nice to hear what MSNL players that are currently playing on Merge are considering doing with this news if anything? I don't have a ton of money on there so I'm not really concerned, but still...curious I guess.

I don't really see how harassing some low payed worker who is probably really concerned about her own job right now is all that entertaining.
This and there's nothing funny or clever in the dialogue.

fwiw, i used to work in CS. i'd rather get creatively trolled like this with movie references than the alternative of a stream of dumb profanities. i'm trying to find something to smile about here... someone throw me a bone.

Anyone have any insight about Merge?
well now there's no longer any doubt that DoJ is still doing its thing against American-facing sites. I'm not sure there should have been any doubt to begin with, and in that case nothing much changed. presumably as long as these sites view it as profitable to serve Americans, they'll serve Americans. when they determine it's not profitable anymore (or DoJ seizes their domain/brings owners up on charges), they'll stop serving Americans. I don't think there's anyway of knowing how close or far they are from making that decision, or how close or far the DoJ is from doing what they did to Stars et al.
it's easier to deposit than withdraw so no need to keep too much on these sites. it also seems Lock Poker has faster withdrawals than the other Merge sites so maybe open an account there.

Yeah I've been getting withdrawals fairly quickly the last couple of months, but who knows what it will be like in the future. Might as well slim down the bankroll. How long are deposits taking to process? Is it almost automatic? I haven't deposited on merge since before BF.

Obviously I have no information, but I would assume that the problems with Everleaf are unique to them and that each site operating in the US now has it's own situation to deal with. Personally I'm just going to keep going with Merge until I have a strong reason not to.
I haven't deposited since April, but it was instant.
