Purely anecdotal but when I am in ketosis I can do cardio forever. I have done 2 hour elliptical sessions no problem, this is not something I can do when I am eating carbs. There is definitely a huge advantage to ketosis for me relating to cardio.

i was running 6 days/week, 30-35 mi/week, before transitioning to low carb (i stopped to free up time for poker). but only running 1-2 times a week now, i haven't seen a huge drop in performance.

before, on a high carb diet, i'd go through fit and lazy stages as well. but during the lazy stages, i'd feel like i was dying just trying to run 2 miles. now i can tick off 4-8 miles if i have the time without superhuman effort. but i also changed my running form last year (barefoot training), so that may have something to do with it also.

I only run indoors Frown

I used to be like that, now I can't run indoors at all - I don't know when it changed but once the switch flips, running outside becomes one of the best feelings you can have. Smile

I believe that, its also better to run indoor then outdoor. and you see nature (I only see beautiful women Frown Wink)

but yes, I would prefer to run outside too.

in gym, treadmill runs you.

mweh, I think that is a bit to much of a statement.
For me, I run indoor because I like the stability of the treadmill.

the earth is not stable?

haha For people with back anckles and knees that used to have lots of injurys, its better to run on a more stable ground like a treadmill then outside where there are laying rocks, and all other kind of things that you can step on while running.

it's a miracle the human race made it this far when all it takes to defeat us is rock on ground.
