But unlike in blackjack the players will adjust to each other, so maybe the EV is influenced by match length.

Why bother with hit and run when you can use hit and hit?

HU games should probably just be removed completely, IMHO. In their current state, they do nothing but hurt the game and reward people who extreme bumhunt for hours on end. Sad, since it's probably the form of poker I enjoy the most and I would have loved to play HSNL HU back in 2005-2009.

I guess they don't. I've always wondered why the most scummy of shortstackers, tableblockers and bumhunters never seem to participate in the poker community, don't post on 2+2, or whatever. Must be because alot of them are russians, chinese and the like. Most of them seem to not keep up with the ToS, don't give a shit about table etiquette and do stuff that is criminally harmful to the good of the games.

BTW, is the ban rule actually enforced? I've heard Party is actually banning loads of table blockers and that it's doing wonders for the games.

I believe so, if you grim people at stars repeatedly I'm pretty sure they ban you. They were handing out bans for table blockers as well lately.

Who are "table blockers"?

"Grimming" however, is not allowed. That's only playing your button, then leaving. The button has a huge edge in HU games. If you don't mean to play someone heads up but you accidentally play one hand, then you should allow him to play a button as well before quitting.

It depends, a reg that just has sit out next bb ticked on (So he always plays sb last) is allowed obviously. Tho it can be seen as grimming and is imo a dick move. Always leave on your bb people!

A guy that doesn't have post blinds automatically on, sits at a table alone and never plays when he is dealt the bb isn't allowed afaik.

Another big difference between these 2 scenario's is that the first one is happening when a table is falling apart and the 2nd one is happening when starting tables.

Stars HU is a f***** joke, just played 2 hours, sat 28 different opponents and logged an epic 246 hands, dunno why i play HU cash anymore , gonna play zoom now cos its just too tilting playing all these weak tight bum hunting fuk wits ~
