I highly doubt DC loves the fact that you're advertising competitors on here... I guess it doesn't really matter though since DC blows every site out of the water imo

Honestly we don't mind. I'm happy to see that's the general opinion of DC in this thread, but just like in poker, you can always get better at what you do, so we're happy to see what everyone thinks of both us and our competitors. Smile

This is my first training site and I think its great!

Only gripe really is that I would like a better way to track what video's I have watched or the series I am following etc, perhaps I am doing it wrong but the only way I can do this atm is to bookmark rss feed to remind me what I have downloaded or watched.

Give our Playlists a try:

http://www.deucescracked.com/playlists

I have the impression that'll be exactly what you're looking for. There are public playlists available at http://www.deucescracked.com/playlists/public - but you can also create your own and group videos however you'd like, keeping track of the ones you've watched as you go. And don't forget to use our notes feature to take notes on the videos you're watching. Smile

My experience with CR before moving to DC is that they appear to be far more "corporate" than DC (in feel of the site, not in quality of operation). The whole site feels more sterile and dated, and the quality videos are almost all from years ago. Also the DC forums are significantly better than the CR forums, and as stated the coaches and video creators get involved in the forums as well on DC.

But the thing that is most annoying is the DRM on the videos. With DC I can download the mp4 videos, watch them on any PC regardless of internet connection, store them on my android tablet or phone and view offline, convert videos in DVD Catalyst to any format (including formats better suited to the tablet/phone form factors), and all without fuss. On CR the DRM made it so that you needed to bypass the DRM just to play it on an alternate device (or convert it) and even if you wanted to watch it on the original PC you were annoyed by a DRM login screen for each individual video you wanted to watch.

Just my $0.02.

Had a CR membership for a year through Full Tilt. The videos were very varied. Some were trash, others were incredibly useful.

One big difference is that DC seems to have higher standards with regards to video-quality and audio. Some CR videos were so low-res or had poor card mods making it nearly impossible to follow the action. Haven't had that issue with DC, except for a few are vids.

CR forums were shit imho and I never really felt comfortable posting there.

DC is not only a place where you have access to training videos but also the best (imo) sweet poker community on the Internet and this is priceless Smile

The no DRM is a huge thing for me. The series format for the videos is also excellent and so are the coaches. The forums are also very good, I need to become more active on them (will be doing this after my jan exams) but they are the right blend of humour and constructive criticism than all the wanna be comedians and trolls on 2 plus 2. Ive tried many free trials at training sites but DC is the only one that keeps me coming back.

This site has even helped my grades at University. I treat lectures like a training video, using evernote to take notes during them...probably to the annoyance of my fellow students lol Smile So even though I havent really put in the effort pokerwise, its definately had a positive impact on me personally

That's just one in a long line of reasons why Deuces is tops (cool attitude of management).
Others include DRM free vids, themed sessions, and lest we forget, the number one reason:

>> Deuces got the Duck <<
Smile

(how do we contact the Complaint Dep't about Vanessa slacking off on new vids??)

I hardly play anymore so I'm no longer subscriber but I was a paid member of DC for years and it's been an invaluable resource. Both for the vids and the forum content. DC seems to have a much more holistic approach to poker than the other sites I looked at.

Top tip for Entity here: make that new sthief series vid 1 free to watch and yank yourself some lapsed subscribers back. It sounds designed to do the job!

I am coming to the end of my Cardruuners sub, and dont want to renew it, I have learned to crush any game from nL2 up to NL50 at cardrunners, but frankly lately they have not come out with anything that can coach me or help me get to the next level for videos.

Any advice on where I should go next...?

Thinking about either tourney poker edge or Dueces cracked obviously, but I have no idea what to watch on here to get me to be a NL50 NL 100 NL 200 - crusher.

Does DC have a sign up fee like cardrunners 100$ sign up fee.....?

I usually earn my sub from MGR, but not playing on said raked site anymore, just on pokerstars fulltime now.

Any advice would be awesomo guys girls Wink
