Had this problem as well. I must have already been in a bad mood cause I got pretty tilted by it and played like a tool.

4) Members in each bracket will have a set STOP LOSS and once their graph drops below that figure they are disqualified. (Ballers: $1000, BoB: $100)

Scenario:
I play 8 tables of nl100. I am down 500$, so my roll would be at 500$. Am I allowed to continue playing 8 tables, or do I need to just play 4-5 tables?

you can play whatever you want,how many tables you want,as long as your total loss on the graph doesn't go below 1000$ so you can play 8tables,but if you bust on 5 of them,you are out

that is if you don't double up on other tables,but you know what i mean

Yeah it's been simplified from last year CivSTAR and frankly.. I like this change for it's simplicity. Play whatever you like... your graph must never be equal to or worse than -$1000, and that's it.
