@SenatorReid takes question about the poker bill. Says it would create jobs. Paging @RalstonFlash .

I was on QuadJacks and Short Stacked Radio yesterday evening to promote this. Hopefully it will increase our participation even further.

It will take you less than thirty seconds! Thank you for participating. Let's reach out to key supportive lawmakers today to thank them and to encourage them to move forward.

- Send prefilled, editable tweets to Sen. Harry Reid (HERE), Rep. Joe Barton (HERE), and Rep. John Campbell (HERE) [Rep. Barney Frank is not on Twitter].
- Try to wait an hour or so and then send these tweets to Sen. Reid (HERE), Rep. Barton (HERE), and Rep. Campbell (HERE)
- Send a prefilled tweet promoting today's action plan HERE.

Please reply in this thread with tweeted, done, etc. to encourage others to participate. Please also consider revising your profile location to indicate support for the action thread. The past 22 actions have generated triple-digit participation, so let's keep it growing. Thanks!

Some additional information:

Great job on the Twitter messages to Sen. Reid all! We represented well over half the submitted town hall questions, which was duly noted by the Washington Post, AP, and Politico, and poker sites like PokerFuse. So, we got the attention of the senator as well as some media. Additionally, he answered our question affirmatively: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhfVr6BnUFs#t=9m58s

Great job all! This really shows that we can be heard if we speak as one voice.

Done.

A reminder to non-Americans... the twitter and Facebook stuff we can still do. We all want our game to flourish around the world.

Not quite finished for today (I just woke up), but I got the first set of tweets done and will complete that task in an hour or two. :-)

Seriously, this is a great "thing". Hopefully this "thing" will become a "movement" and then eventually we'll have online poker again as we once knew it.

won't be as we once knew it, but better than playing on Merge or any other site not knowing what's going to happen. I really did love playing with a HUD and rakeback. Wink
