Honestly, I'm concerned of course but don't think there's much of a need to panic at this point. What can you do? If the money is stuck on the site for now, it's stuck on the site. If the money can come off, let's be honest it's probably going to be more likely further down the road.

A bunch of people @ these companies were deceiving banks as to their business practices and they're in a lot of trouble. I'll tell you what, if FT/Stars doesn't have a plan for this or didn't see this coming to some degree I would be SHOCKED.

If you read the 2p2 thread you see some Americans getting money off for the time being so I'm not too concerned. I think the best bet for now is to remain calm and wait for Stars/FTP to reply.

As for UB, I mean honestly I have no idea what those cats are up to at any point.

I don't want to incite panic but this is not good Frown I've got a fuck ton of money in these sites, and I know others like jk3a have been trying to withdraw for the past month without any luck.

Withdrawals have been very suspect lately. Took me over a month to get two separate withdrawals with minimal email responses from FT and no real explanation

Standard practice for Full Tilt imo, if you said Stars then it would be cause for concern.

This looks bad for US players and hope it doesn't happen to the other US facing networks as well. Time to cash out of merge too?

Does anyone else have a pit in their stomach right now similar to that fateful day in 2006?

But seriously, before we freak out read the second paragraph:

Ugh. This is not what I needed in the middle of exams - is there any real chance of non-us funds being seized?

There's not much reason to think that their plan is not to keep players' money and use it to fund defense/penalties.

Fuck republicans.

I withdrew a few hundred dollars right away after seeing the news (Norway, FTP). Not sure if amount is important. It might be harder to withdraw larger amounts (idk).

Fuck republicans.

Fuck democrats.

I just went to all the sites and they all work. Has anything changed or can people still see the FBI notice?

In some ways, this is our just reward for happily playing illegally (semi-legally, whatever) and hoping the problem would go away. I expect I'm not alone at wishing I'd been more involved in PPA and legislation reform. Let's hope this isn't as bad as it seems; at this point that's about all we can do. I assume there will be a letter writing campaign to our congressmen starting soon.

2+2 is a free site so anybody can access and it is getting totally hammered right now. It will load if you refresh a couple times but is very slow and probably will be for quite some time. Not sure what kind of server setup they have going on but obviously not strong enough for such a newsbreak like this.

Bodog was faced with this same issue some time ago and retained their domain. Not to say that will happen, but some hope is there
