Great stuff Joe! Those old ammonia printing machines were crazy (I used to work in an architects offive where we had one of them).
Definitely liked the 'When you've got it good' section. Things definitely change & can change quickly, both for better & for worse.
Another great episode ... I sense something in the 2011 awards for this series!

However, I couldnt help myself as i'm sure there is many young users here that never new why they were called blue prints nor will they ever see one.

i loved the last quote because it reminded me of awhile ago i was playing a session with suuuper soft opponets and i kept thinking to myself "wow im going to make alot of money at this table" when in reality while im defiantly going to make money at the table in the longrun alot of time i can and will lose money at that table against those players (and i did) this easily has to be the hardest part of poker is truly understanding and accepting the fact of luck/variance in such a skillful game.

really great video joe probably the best one yet please get alot more of these, one of the best overall series on the site/web.

The first part wasn't! My favourite blueprint so far

1. I am not a car guy - but thats a sweet ride.
2. I came over to DC because I was told about Baluga whale Coaching tree series - but I soon found Joe Tall videos and although I dont always play Joes games - he is one of my favourite video makers and I am always disappointed when the season is announced and no Joe tall vids - So Joe stop poisoning your baby and do another series
3. Cool video - and you gotta work on your timing Joe coming out the week of UIGEA.....man thats bad - I am about your age '91 grad High school - anyway I quit my job in late 2000 took a break then decided to take a risk and try and start a new business in the U.S. ( I am Aussie) within two months of moving there sept 01 hit and basically the business I was trying to start got stuck in a timewarp for 6 months and I burnt too much cash and never got it going. - SO yeah timing is everything.

I know that you didn't speak on any of my questions specifically in the video, but here they are:

With your knowledge of multiple games, what game would you choose to teach a person who has never touched a deck of cards whose intention was to try going pro eventually? Would this answer have been different 3 or 5 years ago due to certain games getting tougher?

If you could only choose one game to play for the next year for yourself and current skill set, which one would it be? Would the answer change if the only goal was to make the most money possible?

Do you feel that it is necessary to play all the games you know individually to keep your skills sharp or can this be done by playing them in a mix? or does it differ between games?

Thanks and I enjoyed your blueprint! I wish you didn't have to struggle, but its good to hear the cautions of someone who has been there.
